My name is Kasey, and I discovered my passion for cooking when I was just 14 years old. Through trial and error, I found that I made better dishes when I listened to what my body was craving. By intuitively creating recipes, I was able to heal and nourish my body by preparing meals that were not only delicious, but good for me too! That's why I started The Intuition Kitchen — because eating healthy doesn't need to be daunting or time consuming. Instead, it's a connection between your body and the right foods.
Originally from upstate New York, the majority of my cooking knowledge has been self-taught, as well as studying at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park, NY. I've also taken gardening classes at the well-known New York Botanical Garden located in the Bronx, NY. Combining my passion for cooking with my love for gardening, The Intuition Kitchen uses home grown vegetables and herbs out of our community garden plot in Amesbury, MA and locally sources other ingredients when needed.
The education doesn't stop there! I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the State University of New York at New Paltz, as well as a Master's Degree in Transformative Social Change from Saybrook University.
The Intuition Kitchen is based out of Newburyport, Massachusetts and serves the surrounding North Shore areas. Keep an eye out for us at a Farmers Markets near you!
